I have always had a fascination with the history of California. The state has so much history and so many interesting places. Recently, my mother suggested I visit the Napa County Office of Education to see what they do with that history. In order to gain this experience I needed to purchase a small gift from them. I was not disappointed.
In addition to seeing the office’s history and a great history museum, I was also able to go to the school to get a short tour of what we do and what we’re doing to support students with disabilities. I must admit, this place is stunning. The building has such a beautiful and modern feel to it, and the grounds are gorgeous.
I’ve never seen such a nice school for students with disabilities. I love not only seeing the facilities, but the teachers and staff are so friendly. I was glad to see that the school was in the heart of Napa County, and that it is a part of the Napa County school district.
Although the school itself is beautiful, the staff and teachers are just as wonderful. I was pleased to see that our office of education is also in the heart of Napa County, which is a very cool thing. It means that our office is within walking distance of the main office of the county’s education agency (the county school board). I hope when I get to the county office of education, the teachers there are as nice as the ones that I’ve seen inside the school.
Actually, I’m not sure if the teachers are as nice as the ones that Ive seen inside the school, but I can’t complain. The teachers in the office of education are some of the most competent and nice people I’ve ever met. The staff is wonderful and there is a great sense of community that extends to the entire office.
