A binge is defined as a period of time when a person drinks alcohol or other drugs, or eats sugary, fatty foods or sweets, in a short amount of time. The term “binge eating” was used in the first edition of the book The New Year’s Diet, by Dr. Michael Greger.
A lot of people think that binge eating is bad for their health, but the facts are that binge eating is actually good for you. The American Heart Association recommends that people limit their alcohol intake to one drink per day and their sodium intake to no more than 2,500mg per day. Additionally, the American Cancer Society recommends limiting the amount of sodium in your diet to less than 2,800mg per day.
Binge eating isn’t necessarily bad, but it is a bad habit. Whether it is intentional, is less important, or is simply a side effect of being a human being, binge eating is actually a common reaction of many people, and one that you can take a very proactive approach to. While most people find that they crave comfort food, and usually have trouble with hunger, they can learn to control their own cravings.
The problem is that many people do not identify what they are craving. They think that they want the “wrong” thing, and eat food until they can no longer eat it. This creates a cycle of eating until it becomes too difficult to stop eating, and then eating until they are too tired to eat. People can also eat until they are unconscious of what they are doing.
I don’t personally think it’s a binge. I’m not sure how many people can control their eating enough to stop when they are hungry, but I think it’s a common occurrence. If you have your own personal binge, I would suggest that you do yourself a favor and avoid it. If you are a binge eater, by all means, try to control it. That is better than doing nothing.
There are many foods that are considered “biting” and are very difficult to stop when they are all hungry. I wouldn’t recommend drinking heavily in any situation, but if you are having problems controlling your eating, you might try restricting your food intake. You do not have to starve yourself to stop eating, but you can try to make sure that you are not eating everything you put in your mouth.
When I was younger I would have been absolutely terrified of starving. I would always go for the easiest foods like cereal and toast. However, as I got older I found myself able to eat whatever I wanted without feeling guilty. This is something that I have been able to do since college. However, there are still foods that I still find difficult to control, like most of the foods that are considered “biting”.
I don’t believe I have ever been able to control biting foods. A few years ago I was eating a sandwich and the sandwich started to burn a hole in my stomach. I immediately had to stop eating it and try to figure out what was wrong with me. It turned out that I had been eating a lot of spicy foods. I was able to control the heat, but not the taste.
You can’t just blame it on spicy food. The only way to control your appetite is to have a clear idea of what you want to eat. There are foods that you may think you can control, but in reality are very hard to control. For example, there is no way to control how much you want to eat when you’re eating dinner. You can’t control whether or not you’ll eat more than you think you’ll be able to.
The food analogy is a good one, but really it has to do with the amount of time you allow yourself to eat. If you are eating only when youre hungry, the time between meals may be longer, but it may not be. If you eat so much that you just cannot stop, or are so hungry that you cant stop, then you may feel like youve had an overindulgence of food, but it may not be the case.
