There’s no doubt that being a “good” person changes the way you think and feel about the world. But there’s no foolproof formula for “good” or for “being a good person.
The best way to be a good person is to believe that you are good at something we all need, which is to be self-aware. The problem is that so much of what we do every single day is driven by our own thoughts and impulses. To be good, we have to believe we are good.
Self-awareness is the ability to think without being affected by outside events. If we want to be a good person, we have to believe that we are good at something that matters to us. We have to be able to think about our own actions and be able to stop and acknowledge them. We don’t have to be perfect, but we do have to be able to recognize that we are imperfect. That is why we often say that we are just “so” nice.
“How do you know we aren’t lying?” And “How do you know we aren’t just trying to be nice?” are the two most common questions I get asked when I am teaching self-awareness. Self-awareness is a process that involves self-awareness of our thoughts, our behavior, and our actions. It is not something we have to do or become. It is something that happens naturally, as a byproduct of our own thoughts, behaviors, and actions.
I think that most people have a pretty good idea of who they are, and who they are not, and what is real and who isn’t. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to practice self-awareness. Self-awareness allows you to be aware of your thoughts, behaviors, and actions. By being aware of your own thoughts, behaviors, and actions, you can be aware of your past, your present, and your future.
Self-awareness is a big chunk of the course we take in this course, so I thought I would tell you a few of the things we talked about in class that helped us learn what self-awareness is. The first one is that our emotions matter. Without awareness of those emotions, we are likely to go through life with an unbalanced mindset. Emotions cause us to act in certain ways or make us think certain things.
Emotions will make us act in certain ways, and they can also make us think certain things. Those are two very different things. One is the behavior-based part of being self-aware, and the other is the thinking-based part of the same thing. We don’t really have a conscious mind, so we can’t even know with certainty whether our behavior is the result of our emotions or our thoughts.
Self-awareness is actually a big part of the reason why we feel like we need to look our best. We cant always be satisfied with the way we look, so we end up choosing to wear clothes that make us feel good, or buying something that we think makes us look good.
We have to think a certain way in order to feel good, and that feeling is one of the best things about being self-aware. Just because we feel good about ourselves doesnt mean we’re not thinking about something else. We actually have to think about something else in order to feel good.
For example, the only way to make you feel good about yourself is to think about something else. If you were to look in the mirror every morning and think about how you want your life to look, you would be the happiest person on Earth. If you were to think about something else than yourself, you would be the most miserable person on Earth.
