But how do you know, you ask? Because the average person simply doesn’t get enough sleep. Most of the population sleeps only 6-8 hours a night, and that’s not very much. According to some of the most recent studies, we should aim to get at least seven solid hours of sleep a night, and a minimum of eight hours of sleep by the age of 30, regardless of your age.
This is important because our bodies are built to fight off disease. So if you’re constantly looking for ways to stay healthy, you’re going to want to make sure you have a good night’s sleep. Which means you should at least aim to get just a couple of hours of shut-eye every night.

The best part is that there is no need to over-stress your body by eating so much chocolate. The bad part is that most of the weight gain is due to the hormones and the lack of sleep.
So in other words, if you’re worried you might gain weight, you can just turn off the hormone-boosting ones, and eat less.
