If you google “medical gaslighting” you will see lots of information, but basically if you are trying to convince yourself that you can get into a hospital, get out, and you won’t get any medical care, you are gaslighting yourself. This is a common problem that can happen for a lot of people. If you do get into a hospital, the hospital is going to see you as a very sick person and will try to take care of you.
The other thing that this can cause is that people can gaslight themselves when there is no one to gaslight. This is a very common problem that can happen when someone is experiencing a health crisis. They will gaslight themselves to make themselves sound better or to say they are fine, but when they are not, they will gaslight themselves so no one will notice.
So a gaslighter is someone that is an expert in self-deception, so they can convince themselves that they are in good health because they did not get hurt in an accident nor do they have any premonitions of an emergency. They also can gaslight themselves to look better because of the fact that they put on a lot of cosmetics, and so no one will notice that they are actually sick. The gaslighter will gaslight their own body so they look much healthier.
Gaslighting is probably one of the most common methods we use to control our perception when we are sick. It is also one of the most effective, because it makes us feel better. I’m no doctor though, so I cannot make any pronouncements on the effectiveness of gaslighting.
Not sure about the effectiveness of gaslighting, but we can’t deny that it feels much better than lying down on your back on a bed of ice and listening to a loud clock tick.
