I am not a fan of mental illness in general, because I think it is a form of illness. But I do think that it is a disease that needs to be treated with a specific medication. It is not something that is going to go away, but it is something that needs to be taken seriously and treated.
I think the same is true for mental illness, but I also think people with mental health issues are much more likely to be self-aware. To be honest, I’m not sure how much self-awareness I’m able to achieve because I can’t seem to remember how I got here, but I’m certainly working on it.
I have never had suicidal thoughts in my life (I had no one around to see if I was crazy or not, so I do not think I was), and I have never intentionally killed myself. But I have had times when I was in such a state of panic that I would just pull the trigger. I know I can’t say I would have done it, but I would think about doing it.

Suicide is when a person is in a state of extreme mental illness and has no will of their own. Suicide means there is no will, because a person is not fully aware of their own emotions.
